Pais Palette

Based on the classic palette shapes of the Impressionists, these ultralight painter palettes have been updated for the 21st century. Ergonomically shaped to fit in the crook of your arm, or held with a thumb, they are comfortable for long painting sessions.

Handmade using exceptionally hard British sycamore, with local fruit tree and walnut highlights, they will last for years. Finished in boiled linseed oil over several days, gives a lovely natural lustre that should wear well over time. This is the same oil as used in most oil paints, so are suitable for both oil and acrylic mediums.

Just slightly smaller than an A4 sheet, they are designed for slip in to a folio or notebook for out and about painting sessions.

Please note that each one is unique as they are made in small batches, so some variation between palettes can be expected.
