Kolner Instacoll System BASE

The Kolner Instacoll system is for interior gilding and is revolutionary modern product that has been developed to produce a stunning traditional water gilt finish without the need for traditional methods and materials such as rabbit skin glue, gesso and bole.

It must be applied in two parts: Part 1) Instacoll BASE, Part 2) Instacoll ACTIVATOR

There are four options for the Instacoll BASE - Clear, Yellow, Clear Matt, Red Matt. The difference between them being:

Clear - suitable for going over a coloured undercoat.

Yellow - traditional yellow gilders bole colour.

Clear Matt - suitable for going over a coloured base coat and the gold leaf applied after the activator will appear slightly duller and matter than if applied onto the standard clear base.

Red Matt - traditional orange / red gilders bole colour. Gold leaf applied after the activator will appear slightly duller and matter than if applied onto the standard clear base or yellow base.
