Button Shellac

Button Shellac is used to produce a golden brown-coloured French Polish which is often used in antique restoration or bespoke production of furniture.

Add Button Shellac to methylated spirit and allow them to soak for a minimum of 24 hours or until all they have dissolved. Stir or shake occasionally to help the Button Shellac flakes to dissolve more easily. More Button Shellac or methylated spirit may be added to adjust strength according to your personal preference.
