Garnet Shellac Flakes are used to produce a dark brown coloured French Polish that is often used in antique restoration or the bespoke production of furniture. Easy to use, it is suitable for antique restoration and furniture production.
Add Garnet Shellac flakes to methylated spirit and allow them to soak for a minimum of 24 hours or until all they have dissolved. Stir or shake occasionally to help the Garnet Shellac flakes to dissolve more easily. More Garnet Shellac or methylated spirit may be added to adjust strength according to your personal preference.
