Selhamin Dry Gilders Bole

Selhamin Poliment is a specially refined clay bole used to prepare surfaces for water-gilding.

This is in its dry form, which will need to be soaked in water before use. Mix with rabbit skin glue and a little distilled water to make a high-quality bole for application.

Selhamin bole also comes in a wet form, ready to use straight from the pot.

Once prepared this bole is applied to a traditional gesso surface, ready for gold or silver leaf to be applied and burnished.
