Gilt Wax Medium

C. Roberson & Co. Gilt Wax Medium.

Application: Mix with any bronze or aluminium powders in equal parts and use to touch up damaged gilt surfaces or to produce a new imitation gilt finish. Can be applied onto many surfaces including wood, metal, plaster and gesso. As a gilt finish apply directly onto bare wood, painted frames, or use to highlight areas on mouldings and carvings. Apply with a brush or soft cloth and allow to dry. 

Made from a mix of refined waxes in white spirit.
