Vinamould

Vinamould is a versatile, re-usable moulding material based on vinyl resins and is available in two grades distinguished by colour.

Yellow, which is semi rigid and should be used where dimensional stability is important, and Red, which is very flexible and useful for casting complex shapes with deep undercuts. It must be melted slowly using a bain marie / double skinned melting pot in a well ventilated room and stirred regularly before it is ready to be poured into a mould. Once dried and the mould can be used multiple times and when completely finished with the mould can be cut up, re-melted and re-used.
